This isn't a component issue like RAM, CPU or SSD. A couple of times it has worked, but otherwise, you have to hold down the power button and force the system off, then back on I know when it's not going to work, because none of my RGB strips off the motherboard turn on. 99% of the time Machine will go to sleep fine, but when you try to wake it up, you'll hear the fans spin and some of the lights come on, but nothing else. Disabled power management for PCI and USB Disabled sleep mode drives (set 'Turn Off hard disk' to 0) Set System Power Plan Settings to High Performance and back to Balanced Installed latest drivers for all other components Installed latest Intel drivers / firmware Removed all components except M.2 drive Turned on/off various system extras like RGB, LAN, etc Updated to latest BIOS (same result on previous version)

I have this same exact issue! I've done the following and the issue still persists: Therefore if any one knows how to solve this problem, please help me out. I know doing this so many times will break the computer eventually and the hard drives. Then I disconnect the keyboard and the motherboard starts changing between code 01 and 03 but still won't boot, so I have to turn it off by pressing the power button. After that I press the power button to resume the sleep mode, fans start working then it shows 04 code in the motherboard, I press any keyboard key to see if it helps, but it doesn't. My problem is that every time that I sent it to sleep it kind of goes to sleep, fans stop and everything goes off but the power button keeps blinking. So I bought this motherboard Asus Maximus IX Hero and other components like G.Skill 8Gb x2 sticks of 3200, a video card MSI Armor RX 580 8gb OC edition, a Corsair 700 W power supply and a case Corsair Carbide Series 400c.
